Generally the Gail Force does not target King Mackerel (unless specifically requested) however, anytime can be King Mackerel time when fishing Gulf waters of less than 300' in depth. Kingfish are a common addition to the fish box on bottom fishing trips, usually taken by free lining live or dead bait on a spinning rod. King MACKEREL show up in our Gulf Waters in April and remain until late October. In October LARGE MACKEREL can be targeted around major inshore structures.
