You stare at the eerie green light of the hydroglow (underwater light used in swordfishing) and fall into a trance watching the swarms of zooplankton circling the light. Flying fish and squid appear from the dark waters like ghosts and dance for awhile. Suddenly, the serenity is broken by a clicking noise and the boat is suddenly filled with activity as the captain and mate spring to their feet and start screaming directions to anyone who's listening...........This is the typical scene on an overnight swordfish trip on the Gail Force II. Swordfishing trips to the Desoto Canyon are available April - November.
